Richard "Lindy" McGuire

February 13, 1928 – April 13, 2021

Mr. Lindy McGuire, 93, passed away at Lifecare Center of Bruceton.

Mr. McGuire was a resident of Martin, Tennessee for 37 years where he owned a Pet milk route and the Martin Insurance Agency.

Later, he worked as a salesman for Sears for 25 years. In 1990 he retired and moved to Huntingdon, Tennessee. He was a member of Huntingdon Church of Christ.

Mr. McGuire was preceded in death by his wife Amelia McGuire; his parents, Richard M. McGuire and Fleetie McClain McGuire of Palmersville, Tennessee; a brother, Charles McGuire; three sisters, Clara Cook, Chess McClain and Inez Harrison.

He is survived by three daughters, Sandy Covington (Steve) of Canton, Georgia, Sherry Johnson (Joe) of Huntingdon and Lori Sloan (David) of Lexington; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

There will be a private family service at Sunset Cemetery in Dresden, Tennessee

Any memorials in honor of Mr. McGuire, the family requests bequeathed to Huntingdon Church of Christ in Huntingdon.
