Mr. Rickey Dwayne Smith 60, of Temple, Texas passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Scott White Hospital in Temple, Texas.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday March 19, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Palmer Shelter Cemetery. Bro. Lynn Stapleton will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and on Tuesday from 8:00AM until time of service
Mr. Smith was born on October 23, 1952 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was a self employed carpenter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carrie L. Smith, two sisters, Margaret Joanna Kapsalis and Linda Evonne Smith.
He is survived by one daughter, Heather Hirmer of Minnesota, two sons, Joshua Setzer of Minnesota and Jacob Smith of California, his father, Darrell M. Smith of Huntingdon, two brothers, Darrell E. Smith of Superior, Wisconsin and Tony Smith of Arizona. He also leaves a niece Angela Parish of Huntingdon.
