Mr. Gene Richard "Ricky" Sampson, 73 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Camden Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home.  Bro. Doug Sellers will officiate the service.  Interment will follow in Liberty All Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Sampson was born January 14, 1946 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Jamie Sampson and Margaret Ann (Newman) Sampson.  He worked as a mill operator for Norandal, USA, was a member of Liberty All Methodist Church, a member of Huntingdon Masonic Lodge #106, Benton County Masonic Lodge, Henry County Masonic Lodge, and served in the National Guard.

He is survived by two sons, Tony Sampson (Lisa) of Foley, Alabama and Scott Sampson (Donna) of Camden.  He also leaves four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
