Ms. Rita Lanell Dugger, 74 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Tracy McDaniel officiating. An Eastern Star Service will begin at 12:30 PM before the funeral service. Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are Lavon Yoder, Phillip Yoder, Eli Yoder, Wayne Yoder, Jesaias Yoder, and Abe Borntrigger.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Ms. Dugger was born July 27, 1944 in Buena Vista, Tennessee, to the late Lemuel Columbus Longmire and Oneita Willodean Eubank Longmire.  She was a retired factory worker for Caterpillar and a member of OES #180 and the New Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Claude "Bo" Dugger and one sister, Pat Wakefield.

She is survived by one daughter, Marcia Nevills and one son, Tom Dugger ( wife Sigi) both of Huntingdon.  She also leaves three grandchildren, Ashlie Cotton, Thomas Dugger, Jr., Brendan Chase Dugger and six great grandchildren, Andrew Cotton, Matthew Cotton, and Ashton Cotton, Thomas Dugger III, Aloura Dugger and Bella Dugger.
