Mrs. Retha Lorine "Rita" Williams, 83, of Buena Vista, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at The Waters of McKenzie.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Butler officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of the service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Randy Hargrove, Rodney Hargrove, Steve Hargrove, Daniel Joyner, Nathaniel Hampton and Dakota Beacham.

Mrs. Williams was born September 9, 1938 in Benton County to the late Marvin Mitchell and Flora Robin (Lowery) Mitchell. She was member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, retired from the AMP Bakery, and loved crocheting and quilting. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Oneal "Buck" Mitchell, Orville Mitchell, two sisters, Nedia Allen and Ruby Hintz.

She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Hampton (Gary) of Hollow Rock, three sisters, Kathy Cashion (Steve) of New Johnsonville, Gladys Sanders of Camden and Flo Hargrove (Pete) of Buena Vista. She also leaves two grandchildren, Amanda Horner of Herrin , Illinois, Nathaniel Hampton of Hollow Rock and three great grandchildren, Megan Horner, Reagan Horner and Morgan Horner.
