Mr. Robert Lee Carden, 92 of Clarksburg, Tennessee passed away Friday, August 10, 2018 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Clarksburg Church of Christ with Bro. Billy Ringold officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Clarksburg Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday at the Clarksburg Church of Christ from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Carden was born June 26, 1926 in Westport, Tennessee the son of the late Walter and Allie (Orr) Carden. He was a member of Clarksburg Church of Christ and owner of Carden's Fruit Market and a WWII veteran. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mayron Rush.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lessie Carden; a daughter, Judy Chapman of Huntingdon; a son, Lois Carden (Phyllis) of Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Marty Thompson, Angie Thompson, Stephanie Vincent and Shannon Carden and four great grandchildren.
