Mr. Robert G. Hicks, 82 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to a charity of your choice.

Graveside funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at 1:00 PM at New Hope Cemetery with Bro. Lynn Stapleton officiating.

Pallbearers who will serve are Scott Davis, Bret Barker, Tristan Barker, Jason C. Hicks, Jason A. Hicks, and Shawn R. Hicks.

Mr. Hicks was born May 28, 1936 in Yuma, Tennessee, to the late Robert Green Hicks, Sr., and Golden Fannie (Cox) Hicks.  He worked at Owen-Corning Fiberglass as a machinist, was a member of the VFW in McKenzie and a United States Navy Veteran.  He was also preceded in death by one son, Kim Hicks, three brothers, Clifford Hicks, Denver Hicks, and M. B. Hicks.

He is survived by one son, Jason Hicks (Tina) and one sister, Dorothy Barker, both of Huntingdon.  He also leaves five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
