Robert Charles Holdridge, 76, of Cedar Grove, TN, passed away on October 24, 2023. He was born on April 15, 1947 in Oneonta, New York.  Robert, was known as a great friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his brother John Holdridge, sister Rose Elliot, and sister Patricia (Arnold) Rapoport and his daughter Annette Wilson, son August Holdridge, and son Anthony Holdridge.  He was preceded in death by his father John Holdridge, mother Gertrude (Walton) Holdridge, and wife Dolores J. Holdridge.  He also had five grandchildren, Julian Wilson, Brock Wilson, Alex Holdridge, Adam Holdridge and Kaia Holdridge.  He was also known as a mentor to his great nephew, Robert Collier.

Robert proudly served in the United States Navy for 21 years before retiring as a Chief Petty Officer, the backbone of the fleet.  His dedication and commitment to his military associations were commendable.

A ceremony to honor Robert's life will take place at the Parkers Crossroads Veteran Cemetery at 1:30 PM on October 30, 2023. The funeral arrangements are being handled by Chase Funeral Home.
