Mr. Robert "Bob" Porter, 94, of Dallas, Texas passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at his home.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM in Parkers Crossroads Cemetery.

Mr. Porter was born July 14, 1926 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Robert Bates Porter and Mary (Haliburton) Porter. He was a retired Sales Representative for US Steel and a member of the Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy Lee Taylor Porter.

He is survived by a daughter, Melanie White; three sons, Brian Porter, Scott Porter and Brett Porter all of Dallas, Texas.  He also leaves twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a great number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
