Mr. Robert Harlin Simpson, 81 of Humboldt, formerly of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Hampton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday after 5:00PM and on Tuesday from 8:00AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Richarde Johnson, Cody Morgan, Chris Morgan, Jesus Simpson, Ricky Simpson, and Danny Simpson.

Mr. Simpson was born April 14, 1930 in Westport, Tennessee, to the late Robert Ebron Simpson and Cicily (Kincannon) Simpson. He was a member of the concord Missionary Baptist Church, Korean Army Veteran, and a member of the Huntingdon VFW. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Simpson, three brothers, James Simpson, Charles Simpson, Hulon Simpson, and one sister, Betty Simpson.

He is survived by three daughters, Barbara Espinosa (husband Manuel) Mary Webb (husband Bruce), Carolyn Simpson, two step daughters,Sue Hensley (husband Kenneth), and Ann Pate, one son, Frankie Simpson, one half sister, Dorothy Twyman (husband Charles), and one half brother, J. W. Simpson. He also leaves seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
