Mr. Robert "Bob" Summers, 80 of Huntingdon, formerly of Holladay, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Holladay Church of Christ. Bro. Stan Brantley will officiate the service. Interment will follow in the Nance Cemetery in Alamo, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends at the Holladay Church of Christ on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Summers was born October 20, 1936 in Bells, Tennessee, to the late Leolan and Bertha (Kinkade) Summers. He worked at Conalco until they closed, retired from the Holladay Post Office, in 2002, where he was a rural mail carrier for 15 years, served in the Army going overseas to Taiwan, and a member of the Holladay Church of Christ where he served as an Elder. He loved farming, water skiing, camping and coin collecting. He was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Spence Allen, three brothers, Marvin Summers, Adron Summers, Douglas Summers, two sisters, Judy S. Wisdom, and Audrey Mae Summers.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joanne Summers, five children, Terri Millner of Memphis, Robin Belew (Husband Tracy) of Huntingdon, Robert Summers of Hallettsville,Texas, Kathy Harris of Holladay, Tim Allen (wife Amanda) of Gallatin and his best friend, Moe. He also leaves eleven grandchildren, Morgan, Abigail, Hannah, Kaitlin, Marisa, Noah, Benjamin (wife Ashley), Isaac, Alexander, Katherine, Emily and four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Mason and Cayden.
