Rosie Marie Rivers' Obituary
Mrs. Rosie Marie Rivers, 85 of Wildersville, Tennessee passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Lexington Manor Health Care.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church in Yuma, Tennessee. Interment will follow in the Hopewell Church Cemetery. Pastor Gene Shields will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of service at the church.
Mrs. Rivers was born June 27, 1933 in Carroll County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Jackson Staten and Betsy Melton. She was an operator for the H.I.S. company.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Hess of Wildersville; four sons, Larry Melton of Wildersville; Johnny Melton (Susan) of Lexington; Thomas Melton (Robbie) of Nashville; and George Melton (Aletha) of Lexington and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
