Obituary

Mr. Roy Lynn Milner 77, of McKenzie, Tennessee passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Bro. Jimmy Furr will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Kevin Tuscan, Richard Milner, Kris Byrd, Michael Byrd, Brad Douglas and Brad Baker.

Mr. Milner was born December 17, 1937 in Martin, Tennessee to the late Roy Lee and Pauline (Gardner) Milner. He was a retired quality inspector for Republic Builders, a member of Eastview Baptist Church and the Steel Workers Union. He was also a southern Baptist ordained minister and loved farming. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Milner; one sister, Lee Nell Freeman, and one great grandson, Maverick Owen Tuscan.

He is survived by one daughter, Paula Farris (husband Mark) of Medina; two sons, Roy A. Milner (wife Brandy) of Camden and Gregory Milner (wife Charlotte) of Huntingdon. He also leaves four grandchildren, Kris Byrd, Michael Byrd, Mandy Hilliard Tuscan, and Richard Milner; six great grandchildren, Kody Byrd, Michael Byrd, Austin Byrd, Kyle Byrd, Jase Byrd, and Dallas Milner, and a niece Lisa Lynn Freeman.
