Mr. Roy Leon Rook 80, of Hollow Rock, Tennessee passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri. Bro. Mozell House will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 PM until time of service.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donation be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Mr. Rook was born September 18, 1934 in Union, Missouri to the late Maurice O. Rook and Alvena May (Johnson) Rook. He was a retired Police Officer with the St. Louis Police Department, a member of the Hollow Rock Church of Christ and American Legion. He was a United States Air Force Korean War Veteran and a member of the Korean War Veterans Association.

He is survived by his significant other, Mary McCauley, and her children, Lisa Tharpe, Phyllis McCauley, Tim McCauley, Brian McCauley and Eric McCauley all of Hollow Rock; two sisters, Mary Cratty (husband Sherman), Imogene Reise (husband Richard) and one brother, Richard Rook (wife Patsy) all of St. Louis, Missouri. He also leaves several grandchildren, great grandchildren, caregiver, Tanya Buckley and a special friend, Eugene Borowczyk.
