Mrs. Ruth Helen Springer, 93, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Huntingdon Health and Rehab.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Chase Sanders officiating.  Interment will follow in Sellers Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Springer was born April 15, 1928 in Shiloh, Tennessee, to the late Amos and Lizzie (Taylor) Autry.  She worked for Publix Shirt Corporation in quality control and was a member of Clarksburg Church of Christ.  After her retirement she enjoyed sitting with families.  Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Springer, three brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by three daughters, Reba Neely (James), Donna Simmons (Junior), both of Huntingdon, Lisa DePriest (Tim) of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and one sister, Irene Pinkley of Huntingdon.  She also leaves four grandchildren, Kevin Neely (Shanna), Jill Edmondson (Erik), David Simmons (Kelly), Whitney Grimes (Josh), eight great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Stephanie, Ava, Jack, Lilli, Drake, Sloan, and Abel.
