Mrs. Ruth Evelyn White 88, of McLemoresville, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the McKenzie Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in McLemoresville Cemetery. Bro. Jackie Smith will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. White was born November 18, 1925 in Henderson County, Tennessee to the late Joe and Ester (Younger) Wooley. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Independence Church. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Marcell Morgan and two brothers, Clayburn Wooley and David "Pete" Wooley.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bill White; one daughter, Helen White (Phillip House) of North Carolina; one son, Albert White (Penny) of Lavinia; one sister, Loue Nell Sousa (John) of Camden and one brother, Covie Wooley (Vera) of Coldwater, Mississippi. She also leaves one granddaughter, Hollie Windom; three great grandsons, Dakota Windom (Lily), Austin Windom and Cole Windom; and one great great granddaughter, Heidi Windom.
