Miss Sarah Frances Orr, 84 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Barr Springs Cemetery, 330 Westport Road, Huntingdon, TN  38344.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Andrew Stokes officiating.  Interment will follow in Barr Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:00 noon until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Cameron Orr, Craig Orr, Shane Bartholomew, Corey Bartholomew, Russell Orr, and Harold Orr.  Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Kelley and Donald Orr.

Miss Orr was born October 24, 1934 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Carl Thomas Orr and Vernie Mitchell Orr.  She received a Bachelor's degree at Bethel College and taught in the Clarksburg School System for 47 years and was a member of the Concord Missionary Baptist Church.  She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Murray Orr and Thomas Newt Orr.

She is survived by three nieces, Angie Bartholomew (Don) of Westport, Carla Orr of Memphis, Sandra Boyer (Travis) of Atoka, four great-nephews, Cameron Orr, Craig Orr (Lacey), Shane Bartholomew (Julie), Corey Bartholomew (Brandy) and two great nieces, Dixie Atkinson (Jacky) and Lillian Boyer.  She also leaves several great great nieces and nephews.
