Obituary

Mrs. Sarah Ann Webb, 81, of Bruceton, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Volunteer Hospital in Martin.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Wallace Cunningham officiating.  Interment will follow in Old Pisgah Cemetery in Hollow Rock.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 11:00 AM until time of the service.

Sarah Ann Johnson was born on March 16, 1941, in Carroll County, Tennessee, to the late Henry Johnson and Corine Hampton Johnson. She knew the Lord from a young age and joined Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church and later joined Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church.  Sarah Ann attended and graduated from Webb High School in McKenzie, Tennessee.  She met the love of her life and united in holy matrimony to the late Pastor James C Webb. They were married for 51 years.  Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Pastor James C Webb, three sisters and two brothers, and a very special granddaughter, Brittany Chantel Webb.

She is survived by her five boys Christopher Webb Sr., of Bruceton, TN, Pastor James (Carlotta) Webb of Bruceton, Pastor Ronnie (Lisa) Webb of Hollow R, Robbie (Bettina) Webb of Lexington. and Jeremy (Melissa) Webb of Bruceton.  She also leaves six grandchildren, Tasha (Maurice) Eskew of Selmer, Daniel Webb of Greenfield, Ronnie Jr. (Tennille) Webb of Bentonville, Arkansas, Shayna Webb of St. Petersburg, Florida, Christopher Jr (Lincoln) Webb of Huntingdon, and Jaleesa Mason of Lexington, eleven great grandchildren, four sisters Maxine Davis and Eardie Ruth Craft of Champaign, Illinois, Vina Margaret Dorsey of Urbana Illinois, and Hester Zellner of Columbus Ohio.  Sarah Ann leaves a host of extended family members, friends, and church family who have all come to love her.
