Mrs. Shelia Sue Sykes, 62 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Davis Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Bud Ricketts and Sis. Gail Skelton officiating the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Harold Webb, Billy Christian, Steve Bunn, Jeff Carter, Tony Tucker and John Ringold.

Mrs. Sykes was born November 5, 1954 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late George Warren Ringold and Betty Sue (Kee) Ringold. She was a homemaker and attended the First Pentecostal Church in Huntingdon.


She is survived by her husband, David Randal Sykes, two sons, George Randal Sykes (Bobbie Jo Nolen Sykes) of Huntingdon, Luke Aaron Sykes of Nashville, one sister Cha Fung Fontana of Arkansas, and four brothers, Warren G. Ringold of Las Vegas, Nevada, George Anthony Ringold of Huntingdon, Jerry Martin Ringold of South Haven, Mississippi, and Edward Morgan Ringold of Bartlett. She also leaves two granddaughters, Emily Daliah Sykes and Abbigail Rose Sykes.
