Mrs. Shelly Lynn Beard, 59 of McKenzie, Tennessee passed away Monday, August 14, 2023 at the Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in the Beard Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Beard was born June 4, 1964 in Williamson, West Virginia to the late Lorenza Dow Justice and Betty Jo (Parsley) Justice Maynard. She was a retired associate worker for the Wal-Mart Corporation and a member of the Heaven Sent Church in Bruceton. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie Justice and Wayne Justice.

She is survived by her husband, Art Beard, one daughter, Megan Brown of Sweet Water, one son, Brandon Adair of Big Rock, one sister, Cathy Shaw (Michael) of Lancaster, Ohio and one brother, Kent Justice (Cynthia) of Wildersville. She also leaves six grandchildren, Athena, Leeland, Jaylynn, Braden, Nathan, and Jaden.
