Shirley Faye Holmes Lesseg, 74, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Memorial services will be conducted in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 PM until time of service

She was born in Huntingdon, TN, on June 20, 1939 to Buford and Lula Mae Holmes. She was married to Alfred Henry Lesseg on March 6, 1959. She was a bookkeeper for Dr. H.A. Crisler for over thirty years. From 1980-1994 Shirley and Al lived in Oklahoma City where she worked for OK Tickets, State Fair of Oklahoma, and Lyric Theatre. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and traveling. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved being "Maw" to her grandson.

She is survived by her husband Al Lesseg, daughter Lisa Buck (husband Roger) of Oklahoma City, OK, daughter Lynn Hamilton (husband Matt) and their son Joshua of Edmond, OK. She also leaves two sisters, Bertie Douglas and Joyce Sullivan both of Huntingdon, TN, and two brothers, Jerry Holmes of Paris, TN, and Dale Holmes of Franklin, TN.
