Stanley Carnell Newbill, 76, of McLemoresville, Tennessee, passed away on March 17, 2021. He was born to parents Ardell Wilson Newbill and Carnell Newbill, on March 2, 1945 in McLemoresville, Tennessee.

Due to the current pandemic conditions and the family's concern for the health and well-being of others, the family has requested that those in attendance, at the visitation and funeral service, must wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Stanley graduated from Webb High School in 1963 and worked as a Foam Technician at Foamex for over 20 years.

After retiring from Foamex, Stanley enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing UNO with his grandchildren. Spending quality time with his family for holidays and family gatherings was very important to him.

After meeting Gerlean Jones in 1963, they were married on October 22, 1966 in McLemoresville, Tennessee. Together they raised two children: Reena Newbill-Hairston, and Glenda Carol Newbill.

Stanley is survived by his wife Gerlean Newbill, Glenda Carol Newbill-Daughter, Reena Newbill-Hairston (Carl Hairston)-Daughter and Grandchildren- SaRiya & DaRiuz Hairston.

Rogers Newbill (Wilma Newbill)-Brother, Frances Robinson (Dainer Robinson)-Sister, Shirley Porter (Charles Porter)-Sister, Doris Milton (James Milton)- Sister, Andrew Newbill (Mary Newbill)-Brother, Swayzeene Newbill- Sister, Othell Newbill (Evalena Newbill)-Brother. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly along with other relatives and close friends.

He was preceded in death by Ardell Wilson Newbill (Mother), Carnell Newbill (Father), Leon Newbill (Brother).

The family has entrusted Chase Funeral Home, 21190 E Main St, Huntingdon, Tennessee 38344 with the arrangements.

Visitors will be required to wear a mask for admittance.

Wake:                                   10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Private Family Funeral:  2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
