Mr. Steve Morton Porter, 59 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Furr officiating the service. Interment will follow in the Camden City Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are William Porter, Gene Vickers, James Boyd, Robert Young, Jacob Ferguson, Thomas Ballew, and Cathy Bullington.  Honorary Pallbearer is Ernest Vickers.

The family will receive friends in the Oak Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.

Mr. Porter was born September 10, 1959 in California, was a mechanic for several years and had served in the Army. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Viola Bradley Porter.

He is survived by his father, Gene Stanley Porter, of Camden, a companion, Mary McCulley, of Huntingdon, two step-daughters, Cecily Ferguson (Jacob) and Angela Ballew, all of McKenzie, three sisters, Cathy Jean Bullington, of Paris, Christina Rae Vickers, of Camden, and Samantha May White, of McKenzie, and one brother, William Dale Porter, of Camden. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, Thomas Ballew and Kaylee Ferguson.
