Mrs. Sylvia Ann Filbeck, 82 of McKenzie, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Lakeside Assisted Living.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Furr officiating.  Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until time of service.

Mrs. Filbeck was born January 3, 1938 in McKenzie, Tennessee, to the late Lois and Vivian (Currin) Esch.  She worked as a secretary for Kenwood Terrace and a member of First Baptist Church in Huntingdon.  She was also preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Esch.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Dean Filbeck, one daughter, Olivia Pottebaum (Don) of Prosper, Texas, one sister, Charlotte Ingmire (Bruce) of McKenzie, and one sister-in-law, Joyce Esch of West Chester, Ohio.  She also leaves two grandchildren, Bailey Pottebaum and Brett Pottebaum.
