Mr. T. C. Chandler, 101, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, at his home.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations be made to First Presbyterian Church in Huntingdon, Grounds, P. O. Box 651, Huntingdon, TN 38344.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Long Rock Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Chandler was born September 25, 1922, in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Thomas Claude and Maggie Lee (Woods) Chandler.  He worked at Norandal, U.S.A. as maintenance engineer, a member of First Presbyterian Church in Huntingdon, and a member of the Huntingdon Masonic Lodge #106.  He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II.  Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Cyril Chandler, Clarence Chandler, a half-brother, Jack Chandler and a half-sister, June Borky.

He is survived by his loving wife of 78 years, Leona Chandler, one daughter, Linda Bales (David) of Huntingdon, one son, David Neal Chandler of Charlotte.  He also leaves two grandchildren, Michael Bales (Kim), Joey Bales, two great-grandchildren, Brayden Bales and Lainey Bales.
