Terri Leigh Crockett, age 83 passed away on August 20,2025 at Vanderbilt Hospital due to complications after having Abdominal Aorta Aneurysm repair surgery. She was born on May 17, 1942, to William (Bill) and Sara Herring. She married her best friend and love of her life Joe David Crockett on November 4, 1961, who preceded her in death in 2018.
Terri was a truly amazing person. She was kindest and most loving person in the world. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing her knew how dedicated she was to her family and making sure she supported everything they did and that they never felt anything other than loved. She sacrificed more than anyone will ever know by putting everyone else before herself. We all loved her more than words could ever express. She will live in our hearts forever more.
Terri is survived by brother Johnny Herring, sister Donna Jang, her three children Annette Smith (Kevin), Carol Dixon (Mike) and Jeff Crockett; grandchildren Neely Ring, Emery Ring (Katherine), Katlin Crockett and Paige Crockett; great grandchildren Leighton Coffelt, Ava Ring and Joseph Ring; and many nieces and nephews. All of these she loved dearly!
