Mr. Thomas "Tommy" Akin, 65 of Tullahoma, Tennessee formerly of Westport passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Vanderbilt Tullahoma – Harton Hospital in Tullahoma.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. George Avery officiating. Burial will follow in Jamison Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Akin was born June 27, 1957 in Trezevant, Tennessee to the late Thomas and Thelma Akin. He was retired from the Carroll County Highway Department.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kathy Akin, a son, David Woods of Tullahoma Tennessee, a sister, Susan Prince, a niece, Lisa Cooper, a nephew, Jeremy Prince all of Camden Tennessee, three great nephews and a great niece, a sister-in-law Gina Barker of McKenzie.
