Mr. Thomas Rulon "T.R." Brown 85 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, September 05, 2012 at the Huntingdon Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chaple of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Prospect Cemetery. Bro. Fred Ward will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oak Wood room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Friday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Brown was born September 15, 1926 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Thomas Lester Brown and Ruth Mae (Barnhart) Brown. He was a retired police chief for the Town of Huntingdon, a member of Fraternal Order of Police, Prospect Baptist Church and was a Navy WWII Veteran. He was also preceded in death by sisters; Lucille Bennett, Marie Edwards, two infant sisters and two brothers; Dallas Brown and James Brown

He is survived by his wife of 42 years; Brenda Brown, one step daughter; Lisa Haywood of Huntingdon, two sons; Kevin Brown (Angie) of Jackson, Phillip Brown of Huntingdon, five sisters; Margie Evans, Susie Swindell, Marilyn Ward, Frances Dalton, Brenda Myers and one brother; Landis Brown. He also leaves six grandchildren; Tonya Brown, Hunter Brown, Hailey Brown, Madison Haywood, Joshua Haywood and Justin Haywood.
