Mr. Thomas Gooch, 81, of Wildersville, Tennessee passed away Friday, February 5, 2020 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Bible Hill Cemetery with Rev. Anthony Gorden and Rev. J. D. Williams officiating.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon.

Mr. Thomas Harold Gooch was born on September 3, 1939 to the late Lee Willie & Nadine Gooch.  He departed his life on February 5, 2021 in Unity Healthcare in Memphis, Tennessee.  He professed his faith in Christ at an early age.

He worked for Dement Construction for over 30 years. Other than his parents he was also preceded in death by one son, Thomas Wayne Gooch, three brothers, Willie Howard Gooch, Edward Gooch, Joe L. Gooch and one sister, Deaner "Lou" Johnson of Cedar Grove, TN,

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Parker Gooch of Wildersville, two sons; Jeffery Gooch of Lexington, Timothy Gooch of Wildersville, two daughters, Kimberly Gooch and Della Denise (Eric) Thomas, both of Wildersville, one brother, Billy Don Gooch of Cedar Grove, three sisters, LeaLeigh Johnson, Mary Melton, both of Cedar Grove, and Curly Staten of Clarksburg.  He also leaves six grandchildren; Adria Gooch, Kendra Gooch, and Timothy Gooch, Jr., Spencer Williams and Chad Williams, all of Wildersville, Lecosta Gooch of Camden, and three great-grandchildren, two special brothers-in-law and life time friends, L. A. Pearson, Sr., and Larry "Poncho" Melton, and a host of nieces and nephews.
