Mr. Thomas Elbert Robinson, 94, of Henderson, Tennessee passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Christian Chapel Cemetery Fund.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Christian Chapel Cemetery. Bro Charles Cochran will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 11:30 AM until time of service.
Mr. Robinson was born August 23, 1922 in Carroll County, Tennessee to late Issah Thomas Robinson and Ruby (Sellers) Robinson. He retired from Procter and Gamble after 30 years in Perry, Florida; he was a member of the Henderson Church of Christ, and a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps. He served in the United States Navy, and is a WWII Veteran. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Effie Smothers, and three brothers, Elmer Robinson, Earl Robinson, and Ed Robinson.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ardell (White) Robinson of Henderson; two daughters, Carol Cochran (Brad) of Henderson and Sandra Moore (Jack) of Longmont, Colorado; and one sister, Evelyn Karnes of Huntingdon. He also leaves four grandchildren, Dana Parish, David Moore, Rick Cochran, and Melissa Mohsen, and eight great grandchildren.
