Mr. Thomas Roger McCord, 91 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at his home.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations be made to either Vanderbilt Children Hospital, 2200 Children's Way, Nashville, TN 37232 or LeBonheur Children's Hospital, 848 Adams Ave, Memphis, TN 38103

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Chase Sanders officiating. Burial services will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Highland Memorial Gardens

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are William Coleman, Tim McCord, Cody Smith, Caleb Haywood, Garrett Haywood, and Joe Parker.

Mr. McCord was born January 19, 1930 in Jackson, Tennessee, to the late William Thomas and Nancy (Rogers) McCord.  He worked as a machinist for Mectronics, was a member of the Clarksburg Church of Christ, and was a lifetime membership of Clarksburg Ruritan Club.  Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Alene McCord, five brothers and five sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Juanita McCord, two daughters, Paula Pulley (James) of Jackson, Samatha Hughes (Bill) of Rutherford, two step daughters, Susan Parker (Joe) of Cedar Grove, LeaEtta Stokes (Steve), of Huntingdon, one son, Thomas W. McCord of Medina, three step-sons, Danny Haywood (Gail), Patrick Haywood (Sherry), both of Huntingdon, and Neal Haywood (Tammy) of McKenzie.  He also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
