Mr. Tommy Lewis Barker, 75 of Huntingdon, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 from a tractor accident at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral home. Interment will follow in the Union Academy Cemetery. Bro. Kenneth Massey and Bro, Lyn Stapleton will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherry Wood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Monday from 8:00 AM until time of services.

Pallbearers who will serve are Marty Barker, Matt Barker, Tristan Barker, Scott Davis, Will Hollowell and Bill Hollowell.

Mr. Barker was born September 10, 1938 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Jeff Blanks Barker and Cecile May (Newbill) Barker. He had served in the Army and was a retired Foreman for the Milan Arsenal. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Mack Barker.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy (Hicks) Barker, one daughter, Sonya Davis (husband Scott) of Murfreesboro, one son, Bret Barker (wife Deanna) of Millington, three sisters, Delois Smothers and Jane Hollowell (husband Bill) both of Buena Vista, Nancy Roberts of Milan, two brothers, Jimmy Barker (wife Judy) and Bud Barker both of Huntingdon. He also leaves six grandchildren, Raegan, Elise, Tristan, Katie, Amber and Aimee.
