Tommye Newsome's Obituary
Mrs. Tommye Jo "Mama Jo" Newsome, 85, of Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Huntingdon Health and Rehab.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Halter and Bro. Tim Parish will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
Mrs. Newsome was born in October 28, 1932 in Cedar Grove, Tennessee to the late Elvis and Dorma Elizabeth (Warren) Seavers. She was a retired cook. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Buna Gardner.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Walker (Glen); three sons, Ricky Newsome, Roger Newsome (Barbara) and Wayne Newsome (Ruth) all of Huntingdon. She also leaves eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
