Mr. Tony Davis, 72 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Maness and Bro. Larry DePriest officiating.  Interment will follow in McAuley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mr. Davis was born May 23, 1948 in Buena Vista, Tennessee, to the late Ollie and Alphia (Maness) Davis.  He worked for Daniel Construction as an iron worker and attending Tate's Pentecostal Church.  His favorite hobbies were riding his horses and later in life riding in his wagon pulled by his mules.  He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Glen Davis and Leon Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Peggy Davis, two daughters, Mary Ann Boyd (Eugene) of Westport, Freda Hill (Brian) Columbia, one chosen son, Elton Merriweather of Jackson, two brothers, Howard Ray Davis of Buena Vista, and Houston Davis of Yuma.  He also leaves four grandchildren, Heather Belcher, Eric Belcher, Summer Hoit, Chelsea Boyd and seven great-grandchildren.
