Mrs. Trannie Elizabeth Woodson, 86, of Jackson, Tennessee passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Osborne officiating the service. Burial will follow in Marlowe Cemetery in Fruitvale

In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the charity of the donors' choice

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of the service.

Mrs. Ball was born July 4, 1938 in Crockett County, Tennessee to the late James Thomas Woodson Sr. and Theadora Elizabeth (Burrow) Woodson. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a retired Director of Health Information for Henry County Medical Center. She was active with the American Health Information Association and the Tennessee Health Information Association. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Cleveland Ball, a sister, Ruth Kelly and a brother, James Woodson Jr.

She is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Locker of Nolensville, a step daughter, Susan Ashley Mattin (John) of Frankfort, Kentucky, two sons, Paul Blenis II of Jackson and John Blenis of Greenfield, a step son Clyde Ball (Lori) of Portland, Oregon, a brother, Dwayne M. Woodson (Carole) of McKenzie, Tennessee, seventeen grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
