Vicki Lynn Hawkins, 78, of McKenzie Tennessee, passed away Monday February 2nd, 2026, at Harmony Hills Assisted Living with her brother by her side.

A Funeral service will be held on Friday February 13th, 2026, at 11:00 am at Eternal Hope Christian Church in Salem, Illinois with Brother Kevin Lewton officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Salem, Illinois.  A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eternal Hope Christian Church and will be accepted at the service or at Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home, PO Box 97, Salem, Illinois 62881.

Vicki was born April 5th, 1947, in Salem Illinois to the late Bill and Evaleena (Needs) Hawkins. She retired from Iuka Grade School after teaching almost 30 years. Vicki loved her Eternal Hope Christian Church family, and her friends who go there. She was a pianist for many years, and she had a love of gospel music.

Vicki is survived by her brother: John (Phyllis) Hawkins; nephews: Troy (Jean) Hawkins and Craig (Jessica) Hawkins; great nephew: Allen; and great niece: Anna; She also leaves behind dear friends, Ray Krutzinger and Sue Marlow and cousins.

Vicki will be missed by all who knew her, as the Lord promised we shall see her again… "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8
