Mrs. Virgie Lene Butler, 94 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Nashville Center for Rehabilitation.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in the St. Paul Cemetery.  Pastor Charles Coplin will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until time of service.

Mrs. Butler was born November 12, 1924 in Parkers Crossroads, Tennessee, to the late Johnnie James Parker and Grace Parker.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Lee Butler and one son, William Butler.

Mrs. Butler is survived by one daughter, Virgie Butler Dorsey (Tommy J.) or Orlando, Florida, two sons, Dr. George Butler (Donetta) of Gallatin, and Wilvor Butler (Vickie) of Atlanta, Georgia.  She also leaves twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
