Mrs. Virgie Chapple 72, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Smyrna Baptist Church. Rev. Lonnie Parker will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends at the Smyrna Baptist Church on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Chapple was born December 13, 1941 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Charlie and Christiner King. She was a member of the Smyrna Baptist Church and had worked as a press operator for the H.I.S. Company. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ellen Chapple; three sisters, Nadine Parker, Raylean Jamison, and Dorothy Fay King; one brother, Bobbie Jean King.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, F.T. Chapple; one daughter, Maggie (David) Jones; one son, Frankie Chapple all of Huntingdon; six sisters, Bonnie Staten, Jessie (Darnell) Jamison, Eva Mae Carter, Marilyn (Danny) Johnson all of Huntingdon, Rosalyn (James) Milam of McKenzie and Wanda (Arion) McKinnie of Jackson; four brothers, Charlie Lee (Retha) King, Mack (Jearneitha) King both of Huntingdon, Mike (Pandora) King of Lexington and Leon (JoAnn) King of Bay City, Michigan. She also leaves two grandchildren, Joshua Lynn and LaTasha, one great grandchild, Harmony, several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
