Bro. Wayne Edmon Burton, 90 of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022 at the Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mr. Burton was born on March 1, 1932, in Huntingdon, to the late Allen and Willie (Chambers) Burton. He retired as a minister at the Faith in Christ Church. He also served in the army during the Korean War. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Alene Evans and Maylene Tyler.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Charlotte Burton, a son, Randy Burton (Gina) of Trezevant and a daughter, Shannon Godwin (Martin) of McKenzie. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Courtney Burton, and three great-grandchildren.
