Mr. William Leonard "Bill" Maddox, 72, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019 at his home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Huntingdon Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the Seller Hill Cemetery with Bro. Tim Parish and Dr. Walter Butler officiating the service.

The family will receive friends in the Oakwood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and at the Huntingdon Church of Christ on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Huntingdon Church of Christ or a charity of your choice.

Mr. Maddox was born March 31, 1947 in Union City, Tennessee to the late Leonard Bacon Maddox and Margaret Laverne (Hogins) Maddox. He retired from the Baptist Hospital as a Medical Technologist, was very involved with the Relay for Life, and was a member of the Huntingdon Church of Christ, where he served as Deacon.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rosemary (Williams) Maddox, one daughter, Monica Maddox, two sons, Derrick Maddox and Devin Maddox (wife Becky) all of Bartlett, two sisters, Margaret Sue Pinner (husband Gary) of Brighten, Mary Lou Booth (husband Danny) of Memphis, and a sister-in-law, Virginia Brown of Bartlett. He also leaves one granddaughter, AnnaBeth Maddox and his care taker for several months, Auga Floyd.
