Mr. William "Billy" Szalay, 66, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Christian Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Chris Christian, Brandon Swisher, Frankie Welch, David Szalay, Michael Reynolds, and David Rogers.

Mr. Szalay was born on December 3, 1957, in Nashville, to Arthur and Geraldine Farrah Szalay. He worked in construction for Republic Builders.  He was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Cindy Szalay, three daughters, Christal Reed (Robert), Billie Cobb, and Kimberly Jackson (Edward) all of Huntingdon, a sister, Arlene Reynolds, of Athens, Georgia, a brother, Jimmy Szalay (Faye), of Memphis, and three grandchildren, Hunter Reed, Ty Reed, and Hannah Jackson.
