Mr. Willie "Dub" Lee Carter, 94, of Milan, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. noon in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bible Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.

Mr. Carter was born July 28, 1930, in Cedar Grove to the late Avie and Willie Leo Carter. He was a faithful member of the COGIC of Decatur, Illinois.  He was a truck driver. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, three sisters, and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Lou Carter, his children Phillip (wife Shirley) Carter, Bryan, (wife Jamie) Carter, Francine Nelson Woodley, Rhonda (husband Walter) Edwards, Monique (husband Greg) Hunt, sisters Ruby Feazell, Mattie Sue Carter, both of Milan, seven grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He will truly be missed by all who know and love him.
