Mr. Willie Smith Jr. 88, of Cedar Grove, Tennessee passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 at his daughter's home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the Christian Chapel Church of Christ. Interment will follow Christian Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Doug Sellers will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Tuesday after 4:00 PM and on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM

Mr. Smith was born November 16, 1926 in Humphreys County, Tennessee to the late Will Gibson and Nancy (Curtis) Smith. He was a retired logger and a member of the Christian Chapel Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Ruth Marie Smith; four sisters, Edith Smith, Della Smothers, OvaLee Curtis, and Pearl Holt ; two brothers, Clint Smith and Hall Smith.

He is survived by his wife Jule Smith, three daughters, Bertha Walls (husband Johnny) of Cedar Grove, Lena Smith, and Elizabeth Blakeman (husband Travis) both of Huntingdon; one brother, Calvin Smith of Dickson. He also leaves eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
