Mrs. Willie Mae Scott, 88 of Clarksburg, Tennessee passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Philip Halter officiating.  Interment will follow in Sellers Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Scott was born August 8, 1934 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late Jessie and Florence (Douglas) Pendergrass.  She was a homemaker and a member of Clarksburg Baptist Church.  Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James P. Scott, two sisters, Brooksie McDaniel, Nita Lovell, two brothers, Adron Pendergrass, and Cecil Pendergrass.

She is survived by one daughter, Wanda Morris (Ryan), one son, Ricky Scott (Carol), and one sister, Joyce Altom (Tommy), all of Clarksburg.  She also leaves four grandchildren, Brent Scott, Cody Scott, Faith Bailey, Candace Brewer, ten great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Hunter, Kimber, Lydia, Natalie, Knoxley, Gracelynn, Gavin, Cayden, and Courtlyn.
