Willkie L. Bailey's Obituary
Mr. Willkie L. Bailey, 71 of Clarksburg, Tennessee passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012 at his home.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church at 12:00 PM until time of service.
Mr. Bailey was born January 7, 1941 in Carroll County, Tennessee to the late Ardell Bailey and Nell Rivers Bailey. He was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, his industrial career extended for over 30 years with Brown Shoe Company, Delevan, and M.I.G. Industries. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Erma Bailey and one brother, Steve Bailey.
He is survived by five sisters, Sue Bailey, Paula Bailey, Mary Jo Hart, all of Yuma, Margaret Owens of Huntingdon, Ola Graham of Jackson, two aunts, Norma (Nathaniel) Mebane and Frances Gooch. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
