Mr. Wylie Junior Pearson, 71, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at his home.

Funeral services will conducted on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Rev. Lee Moore will officiate the service.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Ken Glatzer, Johnny Pearson, Kiley Pearson, Kade Pearson, Konnor Pearson, Kelby Pearson, and Jared Glatzer. Honorary pallbearers will be K'Shun Carter, Drelyn Carter, James Hicks, Houston Christian, Sam Bailey, and Ricky Umstead.

Mr. Pearson was born April 25, 1945 in Lexington, Tennessee and was raised by the late Ike and Myrtle Melton. He was a retired Mechanic Supervisor for Dupont and he also retired from the Army National Guard. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Martha Joyce Pearson; one brother, Jimmy Pearson; three sisters, Shirley Floyd, Zuela Buck, and Jerri Melton.

He is survived by two daughters, Sherry Glatzer (husband Ken) of Lakeland, Toni Pearson of Huntingdon. He also leaves five grandchildren, Kayla Carter, Kattie Simon, Kelsey Hollingsworth, Kennedy Galtzer, and Jared Glatzer, and four great grandchildren, Olivia Carter, K'Shun Carter, Drelyn Carter, and Londyn Carter.
